Rafael Nadal Quietly Prefers Family Amid Retirement as He Rings in Grandma’s 93rd Birthday With the Entire Clan

Celebrating grandmother’s birthday is nothing less than a special tradition for Rafael Nadal. However, this year the celebration holds a special place for the family as Nadal is playing his career’s last season. Nadal has been a very private person when it comes to sharing his family moments over social media. However, that didn’t mean the Spanish tennis legend didn’t spend enough time with family. Nadal’s recent photos with his grandmom showcase the other exclusive side of his personality to his fans.

The cousin of Rafael Nadal, Miguel Angel Nadal Riera recently shared a clip on his official Instagram profile’s story. In this clip, fans spotted the whole Nadal family sitting together to celebrate Nadal’s grandmother’s 93rd birthday. From the clip, fans can understand that the family booked a beautiful seaside restaurant to celebrate this special occasion. Along with the birthday celebration, it seemed as if the whole Nadal family enjoyed a wholesome moment of togetherness following good foods.

However, this is not the first time Nadal’s family celebrated their grandmother’s special day. Last year also the family booked Son Servera’s Sa Punta restaurant to celebrate their most special person Isabel Homar’s 92nd birthday. Not only that but Nadal and his father also went inside the kitchen last year to supervise that his grandmother receives a special birthday platter. Chef Andres Moreno and Jose Carlos Martin prepared the famous caldera lobster stew for Nadal’s family and clicked a picture with the Spaniard tennis legend. Now Nadal’s family owns this Sa Punta restaurant, which has garnered a parise for hosting families perfectly for their celebrations. Their decision to celebrate Nadal’s grandmother’s birthday here makes the event more personal and cozy.
