Anthony Joshua camp fire dig at Tyson Fury over explosive True Geordie rant

Tyson Fury’s furious tirade at interviewer True Geordie was a stunt to ‘stay relevant’, Matchroom CEO Frank Smith claims. Negotiations had broke down with Anthony Joshua’s Matchroom promotion and Fury’s team over a hotly-anticipated Battle of Britain bout in December.

And WBC heavyweight champion Fury is now returning to the ring against Derek Chisora in a December 3 title fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. But the fight has been met with frustration by some boxing fans who wanted to see the Gypsy King take on a more credible opponent, given his last fight against Del Boy eight years ago was a completely one-sided contest.

The concerns of boxing fans were raised by Youtube podcaster True Geordie, who challenged Fury on his decision to take on Chisora. True Geordie – real name Brian Davis – pushed Fury in an intense interview on his choice to pick the veteran who has been perceived as an easy opponent.QW

After the exchange began to get heated, the interview ended early and Fury unleashed a foul-mouthed rant at Davis. “I think you’re a t****r. You little t***pot,” Fury said in his outburst. “And I won’t be doing any more interviews with you little t***pot, bearded, bald-headed t****r. Kiss my b**ls, you little w**ker. You little sh**house.”
