‘OMG’: Venus Williams reacts to Serena’s meet-up with Grigor Dimitrov

Venus Williams was left wondering where her invite was after Serena Williams and Grigor Dimitrov hit the practice court together in Miami on Monday.

Dimitrov posted a video of himself hitting with Serena ahead of his appearance at the Acapulco Open in Mexico later this month.

The Bulgarian wrote: “My practice partner is better than yours.”

The World No.17 added a ‘goat’ emoji in his caption, referring to Serena as the ‘Greatest Of All Time’.

While fans were delighted to see the two tennis stars in action on the court together, Serena’s sister Venus couldn’t help but feel a little jealous.

Venus commented on Dimitrov’s video asking why she hadn’t received an invite.

“Omg are you guys hitting now? Where is my invite??” Venus wrote.

It’s not the first time Dimitrov and Serena (who were actually in a relationship for a brief period) have hit the practice court together.

In 2019 Dimitrov said the pair regularly train together after doing so at the Australian Open that year.

“It’s good to have those kinds of hits to be honest,” he said.

“You can always learn a little something from whoever is on the other side of the net.

“We often hit actually, it just happened for everybody to be there that day.”

Dimitrov and Serena were romantically linked in 2012 before he moved on to Serena’s fierce rival Maria Sharapova.
