Inside the Thanksgiving Celebrations of Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson and Other LPGA Stars

It’s a true blue American occasion. The fourth Thursday in November is a national holiday in the United States, when we celebrate Thanksgiving. On the face of it, the festival is about giving thanks for a good harvest. In the wider perspective, it’s about thanking those one is thankful of.

Like others, the American golfers on the LPGA Tour also celebrate the festival with grandeur. Different players have different ways to celebrate it. For some, it is also a precursor to Christmas.

No wonder then that Nelly Korda, Lexi Thompson and Michelle Wie West have been celebrating. An ‘outsider’ has also joined the fun – none other than English golfer Charley Hull. Here is what each one is doing for Thanksgiving.

The golfer posted a video on her Instagram handle, where she is seen decorating a Christmas tree with a friend. Michael Bublé’s song ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas’ plays in the background. The post precedes a message from Korda: “Lots going on here”.
