Following her loss to Iga Swiatek in the Stuttgart final on Sunday, Aryna Sabalenka jokingly warned her opponent to enjoy her new Porsche, which was awarded to her as the winner of the tournament, and also asked the tournament organizers if they could offer her a Porsche if she reaches the final for a third consecutive year in 2024. Porsche is the main sponsor of the Stuttgart tournament.
Swiatek’s victory marked a strong start to her clay season, having also won her first tournament on the dirt this year. However, Swiatek is wary of putting too much pressure on herself and does not want to succumb to the expectations set by others.
