But a dedicated mind and skills to accompany it helped him fight for each point and eventually win the title. Medvedev was handed his third Australian Open final defeat. The 22-year-old was congratulated by the former Russian pro in her own unique way.
Sharapova joined the clamor of those who congratulated Sinner on his five-set win against Daniil Medvedev in Sunday’s men’s final by posting a funny video of herself and Sinner singing holiday karaoke on social media. Along with the video, she shared the caption, “I knew that one day you’ll regret this ???????? Congrats Champ!! patience, poise & class ????????”.
