Well, fans can’t keep calm as AO champion Aryna Sabalenka tagged Paula Badosa as her soulmate in a recent interview with WTA Insider. She said her friendship with the Spaniard helped her open up to people.
Fans call Aryna Sabalenka ‘Little Maria Sharapova’
During an interview, Sabalenka was asked to share a bit more about the personal improvements that she and her team have often talked about recently. She was also asked about the changes that she has in her personal life. The 25-year-old talked about how she emotionally matured. She then went on to talk about her ‘friendships & relationships’.
Talking about her relationship with Paula Badosa, Sabalenka said, “I’m more open now. I’m happy I was able to build some friendships & relationships, like with Paula. Before, I was so closed & so afraid to open up to people. I’m happy I have such a friend like Paula. She’s the best. I love this girl. I think we’re similar.”

Sabalenka had once said to Puntodebreak, “It is very difficult. It doesn’t happen very often that you can find your soulmate on the circuit because we compete against each other. But we had this deal: on the court we are opponents, we can shout whatever we want, but off the court we are friends again.”
