Genie Bouchard reacted to a video showing her and Holger Rune, who played in the same team for Team Kites during the World Tennis League 2022, getting excited for the points being played on the court. “This is funny, Holger Rune,” Bouchard captioned the video on her Instagram Stories.

Holger Rune and Genie Bouchard played mixed doubles together at the World Tennis League event played in Dubai from 19 to 24 December 2022.
Team Kites made it to the final, where they got defeated by Team Hawks, formed of Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, Anett Kontaveit, and Elena Rybakina. “I’m happy that I won something this year.It’s been a rough year for me, obviously I haven’t played in six and a half months, so to finish the year off like that is amazing for me and the whole team,” Zverev said, per The National.
When will the World Tennis League take place in 2023
The 2023’s edition of the World Tennis League will take place in Abu Dhabi between 21st and 24th December.
The organizers are, however, yet to announce who will take part in the competition this year. Nevertheless, given the last year’s edition featured players like Novak Djokovic, Aryna Sabalenka, and Iga Swiatek, we shall expect another star-studded edition.
