Roger Federer’s private thoughts on Novak Djokovic as Carlos Alcaraz branded ‘sick’
Roger Federer admires both Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, it has been claimed. The Swiss maestro retired last year, quitting tennis after battling with injuries. However, he’s still tuned into the sport and has been enjoying some time off with former coach Ivan Ljubicic.

And the 44-year-old has also disclosed his old pupil’s thoughts on both Djokovic and Alcaraz, having watched the pair lock horns at the French Open earlier this month.
“Roger travels more now compared to when he was playing,” Ljubicic told the publication.
“But we make an effort to see each other a few times a year
When quizzed on who Federer was supporting, the Croatian insisted neither player.
However, he also branded Alcaraz as being a ‘sick’ combination of Federer, Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.
He continued: “We were not supporting anyone, we just enjoyed the exceptional level of tennis.
“It’s impressive what Novak is doing, just like Roger said the other day.
