42-Year-Old Venus Williams Turns Fashion Mishap Into A Style Statement As She Aces New Look Ahead Of Wimbledon Championships
The Williams sisters never failed to deliver style statements and incredible play simultaneously. While Serena Williams always ensured her on-court fashion stood out like her play, her sister Venus Williams is no different. Momma Smash and Queen V were the very first to introduce the braided hairstyle, representing black culture.
Venus even took a step further and revealed her acting aspirations through her recent Instagram post. Her pink hair color stood out from the moment she made an appearance flaunting it. The 42-year-old put a story on her Instagram of how her hair went the Bridgerton way when it became a bouffant after she woke up. And the veteran tennis star has now turned that ephemeral mishap into a fashion wave.
This is the Queen’s world, and we are just living in it
We will not be surprised if the Bridgerton bouffant spreads like wildfire throughout the world now. As someone who owns a fashion brand and has a sister with a great degree in fashion, it is not onerous for Venus Williams to be a fashionista. With her sister now retired, ‘Queen Venus’ took the responsibility of representing both fashion and the game in style.
LTA took to Twitter to post the practice session of ‘Queen V’ in which she was seen flaunting her pink bouffant. The video was captioned, “Tennis royalty in the house.” She aced her game like always, playing shots effortlessly and doing some warm-ups as recorded in the video. But it is her style statement that stole the show.

Apart from making fashion statements, the American legend is active on the court, taking part in tournaments and shutting the tittle-tattles of her retirement.
The seven-time Grand Slam winner is practicing for the Rothesay Classic tournament that takes place in Birmingham. Williams is being confident and enjoying her time on the court without giving in to pressures. Though the Libema Open disappointed her, she did not pay heed to the comments and career advice that came her way.
Will the former number one repeat history by appearing in another Slam? Will we see the Queen in White? What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
