Days After a ‘Gingerly’ Update, Tiger Woods Takes the Glory of US Open Away With a Disappointing News

In the last ten days, many things have happened in the world of golf. The PGA Tour loyalists found out that what they believed in until then, was a lie. The LIV Golf defectors grinned from ear to ear in front of the journalists. Finally, the PGA Tour Commissioner may or may not have faked a medical condition. All this happened because of one thing; the $3,000,000,000 merger.

Yet, once the 3rd major of men’s golf, the US Open, began, the merger was not the center of the attention but the event. From the little moment between the ‘Short Game’ genius Phil Mickelson and the Masters champion, to the LACC taking the credit from Rickie Fowler and the 2020 Olympic gold medalist, the first few days of the week were all about the major. However, during the second round, it took a massive U-turn. Because Tiger Woods just dropped an update!

And what he had in his bag to reveal amidst the US Open, was nothing any of the golf fans would have hoped for.

Tiger Woods takes away the spotlight from the 123rd US Open with a concerning news
It is confirmed! Tiger Woods would no longer be a part of the Royal Liverpool Golf Course field from July 20-23. According to his Instagram fan page, the golfer informed the R&A officials, and they sent an email to a famous golf journalist revealing the same.

The report also revealed that while Woods continues his recovery, eyewitnesses from the junior event his son participated a few weeks back, saw him “moving around gingerly with crutches.”

Despite the worries, many believed Tiger would participate in the event that he had won three times before. However, after his son Charlie got spotted at the LACC on Thursday, ES doubted it as a hint towards something disappointing. And now, it turned out to be the truth.
