‘Baby Sis’ Lydia Ko Brings Joy in Danielle Kang’s Life As Sourness From Last Week’s Disappointment Prevails
There are many examples of female friendship on the LPGA Tour. While there is an unbreakable bond between Nelly Korda and Megan Khang the friendship between Danielle Kang and Lydia Ko is also no less special.
Although they are world-renowned golfers and compete against each other in competition the love between them is sisterly. As the duo gets to pair for the LPGA next tournament, Danielle Kang shares her excitement to be playing toth Ko in the event despite her defeat from last week.
Danielle Kang has just returned from Spain after playing in the Solheim Cup. Although her team suffered a defeat, after the final score on Sunday tied with 14 on both sides. In such case last year’s winner which was Europe took the trophy home. And instead of taking some time off after the high voltage event, she is ready to play once again this week in the NWA Championship.
The event will be held at the Pinnacle Country Club, Arkansas from 29th Sept to 1st Oct and has a prize purse of $2.3 million. The tee times for Thursday have been released and in the first round, Kang is paired with Lydia Ko. Also present in their team will be Atthaya Thitukul. Their morning tee times start at 8.32 AM.
Expressing her excitement over playing with Ko, Kang took to her Instagram stories and posted a screenshot of the tee times. Circling their group she wrote tagging Ko “Playing with baby sis this week. Let’s go.” Below she also tagged Thitukul and wrote “nice“.
