Tiger Woods’ son Charlie impresses US Open fans with swing and feline look
Charlie Woods, the 14-year-old son of Tiger Woods, not only impressed fans with his swing at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles on Thursday, he also left them pleasantly surprised due to the teen’s resemblance to a feline.
Charlie momentarily stole the attention from the 2023 US Open going on at the neighboring Los Angeles Country Club and then again on social media.
Pro golf instructor Lucas Wald shared the video of Charlie teeing off at Riviera to his Instagram account and joked that he must have a great coach.
Tiger has been coaching Charlie all his life, much like his father did for him before passing away in 2006.
Charlie was then spotted at LACC to enjoy the opening round of this year’s major tournament in the United States.
Charlie Woods, the little cat
Some users were not as focused on his swing. With comments like “little cat” in the original post, fans couldn’t help but notice Charlie’s resemblance to a feline.
“I’m saying this with the upmost respect,” one user tweeted. “Charlie looks like a feline that has taken form as a human. At least in this shot anyway. Being TIGER’S son and all, it basically solidifies he will have an unbelievable golf career. Look forward to watching it.”
