The secret of Nelly Korda to surviving the tough weather at Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown

Korda, 24, has been showcasing her incomparable skills on the field since the beginning of the 2023 season. Although she had a pretty rough time last year and merely won the Pelican Women’s Championship towards the end, this year has definitely been a lot better for the golfer.

Calling it “such a cool and unique event”, Korda seems pretty excited about representing the country. However, despite all her amazing talent and golfing skills, Korda is only human at the end of the day. And like everybody else on the course, the tough weather conditions are proving to be equally hard to bear with for her as well. But when asked about her plans to deal with such an unusual atmosphere, she revealed two extremely important hacks to survive in the game despite the conditions.

“I’m a Florida girl and I get cold pretty easily,” she said. “I think making sure you adjust to the weather, clubbing up, talking to your caddie a little more with club selections, and staying warm is key.” Followed by her ‘staying warm’ tip, Korda also added how it was equally important to have patience during the game. “Everyone is kind of dealing with it, so you’re just trying to stay as patient as possible…Trying to stay warm and patient is the key this week.”
