Jordan Spieth wife: Why Masters hopeful didn’t wear a ring after marriage to Annie Verret

Jordan Spieth will be hoping to win his second Masters Green Jacket at Augusta this week, and he’ll be supported by his wife, Annie Verret. But the US golf star didn’t wear his wedding ring for a while after his marriage in 2018.

Jordan Spieth is back in action at Augusta this week, as the American aims to win his second Green Jacket at the Masters. The 27-year-old will likely be joined in Georgia by his wife, Annie Verret, as she’s supported him ever since they got together back in high school.

Spieth and Verret met at high school in Texas, more than a decade ago.

They got engaged in January 2018, and then tied the knot in November that year.

The pair now live in a huge £6million-valued mansion in Dallas, Texas, and Verret is a highly-successful event co-ordinator.

Shortly after the wedding, Spieth competed at the 2019 Sony Open, in Hawaii.

He admitted that it was nice to get away on the honeymoon and to find a distraction from golf.

Spieth also revealed that he was having trouble wearing his wedding ring, as it was impacting his putting.

At the time, he said that he probably won’t be playing with his ring on going forward.
