Tiger Woods’ “Devastating” Health Condition Comes to Light Through Caddie’s Honest Confession

We are only a few hours away from the beginning of another historical event. The Masters is hitting the greens soon, and the excitement has surpassed all the meters. Everyone is looking forward to Tiger Woods winning his 16th major title. However, the chances of that seem slim. Even a famous gambler is sure that Woods won’t win. Amidst all this, his caddie has made confessions that might answer your questions.

LaCava poured his heart out about Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods is the king of pain and has endured a lot in the past few years. But as he spoke to the media on Tuesday at the Masters, his longtime caddie sat on a bench and discussed the staggering cost of that suffering. Joe LaCava observed Woods’ injured right leg deteriorate round by round at the Genesis Invitational that the pro hosted in February.

LaCava talked to the Post and said, “Obviously it affected him physically, but I think it got to him mentally because he’s grinding to block out the pain.” He added, “He’s pretty banged up. If it wasn’t Augusta he probably wouldn’t be playing. … He still has the power, the swing speed, the shots and the length to contend. The injury is devastating, but if he could take a cart he could contend tomorrow.” Fans’ hopes are high, but will Woods be able to meet the expectations?

The 82-time PGA Tour winner has endured a string of injuries over the past few years. Since December of last year, he has also been dealing with a bad case of plantar fasciitis. While all of these things may make his chances of winning at Augusta appear slim, he does have one advantage. He created history with his 2019 Masters victory, which many consider to be the greatest comeback in sports history. And as we say, if history repeats itself, this might be it.

The golfing great is rooting for the PGA Tour pro
This year will be Woods’ 25th appearance at the Masters. The fans are undoubtedly excited about it and believe that Woods will win this year. However, it is not just fans who have faith that this will be Woods’ year. The PGA Tour pro’s father-like figure, Fred Couples, can also see it happening. Couples played with Woods during a practice round at Augusta on Monday. After seeing him in the form, Couples is intrigued to see what the GOAT will bring to the table and believes that the pro has still got it. “He’s hitting it really strong and solid, and he looks good,” he said in a post-round interview.
