Amid Playing His Best Golf in Years, Brooks Koepka’s Wife Jena Sims Opens up About Her Masters ‘Curse’

If you’re a fan of golf, you know that the Masters is one of the most exciting events of the year. And this year’s tournament has been no exception. But perhaps the biggest surprise of all has been the resurgence of Brooks Koepka. Brooks has been on a rollercoaster these past few years with injuries and criticism over his move to LIV Golf looming over his career. However, Brooks Koepka‘s biggest supporter, his wife, Jena Sims, recently opened up about her husband in an interview, revealing about her Masters ‘curse’.

Jena Sims talks about her curse
Despite all the setbacks, Koepka has shown that he’s still a force to be reckoned with on the golf course. And while he’s been working hard to reclaim his form, his wife Jena Sims has been by his side every step of the way.

In a recent interview on The Scoop with Claire Rogers, Sims opened up about her relationship with the golfer and her curse.

When asked about her participation in the tournament, she replied, “I’m kind of cursed actually, it’s really funny.” Jena went on to explain how she has never actually completed the Par 3 tournament.

In the first year, she met Brooks, and his mom took part, the second year it got rained out, the following year was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and last year, she was finally able to start it, only to be interrupted by thunder and lightning halfway through. So, despite her best efforts, the Par 3 tournament remains unconquered by Jena Sims.

Koepka’s journey to the Masters was a challenging one. In 2022, he suffered a wrist injury that caused him to miss several months of competition. Despite this setback, Koepka remained focused on his recovery and rehabilitation and was able to return to the course in top form for the 2023 season.

Koepka’s performance at the Masters was nothing short of impressive. He consistently hit long, accurate drives and demonstrated his exceptional putting skills throughout the tournament. Koepka entered the final round just one stroke behind the leader, giving him a strong chance of securing the win.

For fans of Koepka, his return to form has been thrilling to watch, and his relationship with Jena Sims has added to the excitement. Even though, he couldn’t win the Masters this year, his performance throughout was remarkable to watch.
