‘It Shouldn’t Be Happening’: Now Tiger Woods’ Ex-Girlfriend, Erica Herman Was Left Speechless After Woods’ Comeback at the 2022 Masters

Despite ending his 2023 Masters campaign on a disappointing note, Tiger Woods gave his fans something to cheer about. On Saturday, the golfing legend made a record-tying 23rd cut at the Augusta National amidst his struggles with injury.

While his fans would have wanted a better outcome, the five-time Masters champion Woods’ tenacity greatly inspires many. Following his heartbreaking withdrawal this year, Woods’ ex-girlfriend Erica Herman’s strong sentiments about his 2022 Masters outing has come to the surface.

Woods’ persistence in the 2022 Masters left his former partner amazed

Shortly after the Genesis Invitational in 2021, Tiger Woods was involved in a brutal single-car crash near Los Angeles. Following that unfortunate incident wherein he suffered multiple leg injuries, Woods has been a shadow of his former glorious self.

The 15-time major champion, however, has refused to let his injuries get in the way of his love for the sport. His determination to return to form was more evident than ever during the 2022 Masters, and even his then-girlfriend Herman took note of his “miraculous” abilities. “It shouldn’t be happening,” Herman had expressed about the golfer’s resilient outing.

Despite struggling with his leg, Woods put up a good fight and made his 22nd consecutive cut at the event before finishing at the 47th place. Herman was right there by his side, cheering him on. “I mean, nothing ever surprises me about him. But he’d just worked so hard to be here, that was the one thing I knew: once he got here, he wasn’t going to go home,” she expressed.

She had also reminisced about his past successful outings at Augusta. “This feels like a home game for him. This has been his home turf for so long. Everybody around the club knows him. They know us now, too.” Woods’ fifth Masters win came in 2019, almost two years before his ill-fated accident
