The final day of the Masters is underway with the golfing greats competing for the Green Jacket. However, for the Tiger Woods stans, the Major came to an end following his withdrawal. While the sad loss may have upset many fans, it led to LPGA star Nelly Korda sharing an update with her fans.
Like many pro golfers in the professional circuit, the younger Korda sister has also disclosed her admiration for the 15-time Major winner. However, 47-year-old Woods may not have the same level of golfing attributes as he once did during his prime. Despite that, Nelly flew to Augusta to watch the Hall of Famer. But that isn’t the case anymore.
After merely making the cut at the Masters, Tiger decided to withdraw from the ongoing Masters due to plantar fasciitis. Following his exit from Augusta National, many visitors have decided to depart the Georgia-based city including Nelly.
The LPGA star posted an exhausted selfie of herself from her flight. In her Instagram story, she captioned, “I’m ready to go home”, with a sleepy emoji next to it. Though two more rounds of the Masters are still left, the former world number one has decided to flee from the city.
Perhaps it could be mainly due to the withdrawal of Tiger Woods leading her to depart from Augusta. Nonetheless, the former world number one hasn’t specified any reason for why she has decided to head back home early. Though she may have not seen Tiger in a red shirt at the Masters, Korda still managed to play at the iconic golf course. What did she think about ANGC?
