‘Hungry to Win Another Major’: Nelly Korda Makes Her Intentions Clear Ahead of the Evian Championship

Nelly Korda is currently taking part in the 2022 Evian Championship which is the second last Major of the LGPA Tour. Ahead of the Major, Korda discussed her plans for the event and even revealed how hungry she is to capture the second Major of her career.

The Evian Championship is presently taking place at the Evian Resort Club in France. 132 LGPA stars will takeover the golf course in Évian-les-Bains, to claim the 4th Major title of the season.

Nelly Korda has caught everybody’s attention after her big win in the Tokyo Olympics. Later that year she went on to win her maiden Major by claiming the Women’s PGA Championship. However, Korda recently revealed that she is hungry and ready to add another Major to her list of accolades.

It is quite apparent that when you are as good as Korda, the hype for a Major win will always follow you. Fans have high expectations from the golfer since she has managed to achieve so much in the game of golf at such a young age.

While discussing about the 2022 Evian Championship, Korda shared how a win in France would mean a lot. When asked if she would love to finish the Major at the top, she replied, “I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t hungry to win another major. Obviously, that’s something I want to add to my list.”

The 23-year-old further talked about how even a downfall is helpful for her mindset. Korda said, “I love the downs where you have to improve, push, and where you have to dig deep to get back to where you want to be.”
