However, Gauff joked about it as she felt a headache with all the noise inside the stadium. It is worth noting that Gauff idolizes both Venus and Serena, as she is following in their footsteps.

During an on-court interview, Gauff talked about the noise during Serena’s first-round match, as she said, “That was probably one of the most electric matches that I have been to. So loud, I had to go inside because the noise was giving me a headache.“

Speaking about playing at the Arthur Ashe Stadium, she said, “Yeah, it is a really big court, and I have been coming to US Open for years. I remember watching Venus here and Serena here and now, I’m playing here.“
