Camila Giorgi scandal deepens as family doctor makes bombshell claims

Camila Giorgi’s family doctor has spoken out with bombshell claims amid an investigation into the Italian tennis star. Giorgi was named in a report in December about celebrities and public figures who are being investigated for using false Covid-19 vaccination certificates.

Giorgi’s family doctor Daniela Grillone was arrested in February last year and has since been charged with administering fake serums. The doctor also allegedly provided fake vaccination certificates to dozens of high-profile people in Italy.

a bombshell interview on Saturday, Grillone claimed Girogi asked her about obtaining a false vaccination certificate. The doctor also said none of Giorgi or her family members received the jab.

Shortly before the beginning of summer, she had come asking for the possibility of obtaining false proof of all the mandatory vaccines, as well as the Covid vaccine. I can confirm with absolute certainty that none of the vaccines against the Giorgi family have actually been administered.

“I have not received any payment in that case. I am deeply upset and sorry for my action.”

Giorgi played at the Australian Open in 2022 where proof of vaccination was required. Novak Djokovic was infamously deported from the country prior to the grand slam in January due to his vaccination status. It was ruled that the Serbian star’s medical exemption was invalid and his visa was cancelled.

The 31-year-old Giorgi, currently ranked 66th in the world, also played at the US Open last year where overseas visitors are still required to show proof of vaccination. She reached the third round at the Australian Open last year before losing to Ash Barty.

The Italian star is currently in Adelaide preparing to play in the Australian Open again this year. Proof of vaccination is no longer required for foreign travellers to enter the country.
