Lydia Ko was so close to being the highest-earning player in a season of all time, however, things did not turn her way. Only a difference of $591 stopped her from achieving this. But if not Lydia, who is the player to surpass her?

The Korean-born New Zealand professional golfer, Lydia Ko achieved the top ranking on 2 February 2015 at just 17. This made her the youngest player ever to be ranked No. 1 in professional golf.

Ko’s unmatched skill and determination serve to be an inspiration to many. Her iconic rise to world no. 1 at just the raw age of 17, gives hope to many. Truly, there is nothing hard work can not get you, and Ko is living proof of that fact.

Lydia has made a sensational record in this year’s LPGA Tour season. She has had multiple wins throughout the season. Some of her wins include being the winner of the highly coveted CME Group Tour Championship, the Rolex Player of the year, and the Vare Trophy Winner.

She has also bagged the second most money in a season of all time. She earned a total of $4,364,403 in a season. However, she was still not the player with the most earnings in a season, all time.
