Phil Mickelson walks out to Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ at LIV Golf’s ‘party hole’

Phil Mickelson channelled his inner Eminem at LIV Adelaide this week, after making his way onto the 12th hole at The Grange to the sounds of the rapper’s iconic tune, ‘Lose Yourself’. LIV is hosting arguably the biggest week in its so far short history, after heading to Australia for the very first time.

A sell-out 60,000 crowd has welcomed the Saudi-funded series with opening arms this week, and Friday’s opening round proved to be a hit with the fans. A spot every local was keen to find their way to throughout the day’s play was the ‘party hole’ created at the par three 12th.

Stands have been formed down each side of the aptly named ‘Watering Hole’, with a horseshoe seating area with terracing, bars and a DJ plotted behind the green. Another feature that has proved a hit with the fans is the players’ walkout music.

Each of the 48 rebels competing down under were able to select one song to make their entrance onto the par three. And the choice everybody has been left talking about is that of six-time major champion and LIV poster boy Mickelson.
