‘WHAT A GREAT PLACE’ Inside Andy Murray’s family holiday as tennis hero shares pictures of rarely seen children
Still mixing it with the best at the age of 35 after numerous injuries and operations, he’s showing no signs of giving up on winning more tournaments.
Next week at the Monte Carlo Masters he plans to do just that, but not before he took his family off to Marbella for a holiday.
It seems then that he listened to tennis legend Bjorn Borg’s marriage advice…
Andy and wife Kim generally like to keep their family life tightly under wraps but the two-time Wimbledon champ shared some adorable pictures of their children enjoying the Spanish sun and playing at the beach.
The couple, who wed in 2015, have four kids.
Their eldest daughter is Sophia, and she has two younger sisters.
Edie was the couple’s second child and their fourth child was also a girl but her name is not known to the public.
Their third child is their only boy, Teddie.
Andy shared a post in his Instagram feed showing some of what the family got up to, and thanked the resort they were staying at.
The family were residing at the Puente Romano Beach Resort, a finalist in the Spain category in the 2023 Conde Nast Traveller awards.
The resort is styled like an Andalusian village with suites and private villas on site and more than 15 bars and restaurants.
A spa and golf course are also part of the complex and, you guessed it, plenty of tennis courts.
In one image, Andy is seen holding his son Teddie up above his head at the dinner table, with a gorgeous blue skye in the background.
He said: “Just finished a great training week/holiday with my team and family at @puenteromanoresort in Marbella. What a great place. ???? Thanks so much for looking after us.
“Now on way to @rolexmontecarlomasters for first time since 2017! Wish me luck ????”
