GOLFER Jordan Spieth is hoping to win his fourth major title at this week’s US Open final – but who is his stunning wife who is always there for him at his side?
Jordan Spieth shot to fame in the golfing world while still a teenager in 2013, winning the Masters Tournament and the US Open two years later. And at his side every step of the way has been childhood sweetheart and wife Annie Verret. The couple has been dating since their high school days in Texas and married in Dallas in November last year. Annie will likely be throwing her weight behind her husband once again this week as he aims for another golf championship win.
Texan Annie attended the all-girls school Ursuline Academy, while Jordan went to the all-boys Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas.
She is very smart, graduating from Texas Tech University with a 4.0 GPA (grade point average).
According to her LinkedIn page, her high grades put her on the Dean’s Honour Roll in 2011 and the President’s Honour Roll in 2012.
Annie was also involved with various educational groups, becoming a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honours Society for almost three years.
Since graduating, she has formed a successful career in business philanthropy.
She was an event coordinator for the First Tee of Greater Dallas, a charity providing children with development skills through golf.
Her current role is Director of Development at The Birthday Party Project, which gives homeless children a birthday party.
