Lydia Ko’s Early Life
Born Bo-Gyung Ko was welcomed on April 24, 1997 in Seoul, South Korea. When Lydia was four years old, her family moved to New Zealand, and when she was twelve, she formally became a resident of the nation. When Ko was five years old, her mother brought her to the Pupuke Golf Club pro shop, which was run by Guy Wilson, a golf professional who later coached Lydia until late 2013.
