David Beckham Gushes About Wife Victoria on Her 50th Birthday: ‘Let Us Spoil You Because You Deserve to Be Spoilt’
Beautiful, passionate and driven: In a gushing Instagram post Sunday, David Beckham wished wife Victoria a happy 42nd birthday by celebrating her as all those things and more.
“Have the most amazing day and let us spoil you because you deserve to be spoilt by your husband and our gorgeous children,” David, 40, wrote with the photo, of he and Victoria together beneath the words “loving you more.”
PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive continued, “In 42 years you have been able to achieve so much and it feels you are only just starting …. Happy birthday we love you,” adding a string of red hearts and tagging three of their four children (sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – who are all on Instagram, unlike daughter Harper, the youngest).
David’s wasn’t the only message: Their kids each sent Victoria a birthday card of their own, according to a Sunday Instagram post hashtagged “#luckymummy.”
The family also reportedly celebrated Saturday at Nobu Malibu, while Brooklyn was at the Coachella music festival.
Victoria also took to Instagram to thank her family for the sweet greetings, posting a photo of her and her husband, along with the caption “Thank you to my beautiful husband and babies for making my day so special. I am so happy!!
The Beckhams are a famously close clan, and David isn’t shy with sentimental Instagram posts.
As he wrote when Brooklyn, his eldest son, turned 17 last month, “We were given the most precious gift that makes us smile and proud every time he walks through the door.”
