Indian Wells star says ‘f**k this s**t’ three times after beating Emma Raducanu

Aryna Sabalenka swore on multiple occasions in her post-match press conference after beating Emma Raducanu in the third round at Indian Wells. The reigning Australian Open champion was made to work hard but managed to get the job done in straight sets, claiming a 6-3 7-5 victory on her fourth match point.

Sabalenka was given a warning in the second set and was not best pleased with the umpire, who she confronted after the end of the match. While her relentless screaming after hitting every ball would have been enough to warrant a warning, she was penalised for swearing on the court.

he 25-year-old then wagged her finger in the direction of the umpire before leaving the court and used some colourful language in her press conference as she explained why she was so frustrated.

“I just told her, like, come on, you could just avoid that warning,” said Sabalenka. “It wasn’t that bad. Yes, there was, like, one specific word, but it wasn’t, like, I didn’t forward it to her. I was just, like you’re p****d and you’re just: ‘F**k this s**t’.
