The golfer is well-known for her swing and has always captivated the hearts of her fans through the same. And, nothing different took place here as well.
However, among those mesmerized by the professional’s gameplay magic was none other than her sister Jessica Korda. And now, the older sibling took to her social media to recall what happened during the ace that took place, all the while bringing a smile to the faces of the fans of the Korda duo!
The third round of the LPGA Tour’s season finale at the Tiburon Golf Club saw the American pro hit a ball on the par-3 eighth using her 9-iron. However, what followed was a glorious moment as she went ahead to score her career’s first-ever ace. And her sister couldn’t sit still!
In a story uploaded on her Instagram, the 30-year-old was asked what her experience was during her sister’s special moment. Replying to the same, the 6X LPGA Tour champ recalled how she was taking a break “in between the tee box and the green” as her sibling was hitting so that she wouldn’t be “too far away” or “too close.” And, after the 1X major winner hit her shot, Petr Korda, who was standing next to the older LPGA star, pointed out how “it’s kind of a highish ball flight.”
However, as the ball landed and spun “toward the hole,” the soon-to-be mom reminisced how she started “jumping up and down, totally freaking out” while dubbing it as “super super cool!” After the 25-year-old made the shot, her sister “ran up and gave her a huge high five,” as the former excitedly exclaimed, “Finally, it took me so long.”
