‘Can’t Wait’: After Brooks Koepka’s Insane 62, Wife Jena Sims Shares An Adorable Message

LIV Golf is finally on the verge of ending its second season this year. The second-last event, the LIV Golf Jeddah Invitational, is now going on at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club. And having the most lucrative prize money can’t be ordinary. It is a whopping $25 million. The competition is unique since the winning teams advance to the final competition in Miami.

Now that some of the top athletes are on the course, the tension is very high. And the salt in the wound is that LIV Golf recently received an unfavorable OWGR ruling. Amid all the trials and tribulations, players are there performing their best, including the defending champion, Brooks Koepka. But Koepka is not alone, as his better half is on his side.

Brooks Koepka is currently in the 5th spot in the standings for the 2023 LIV golf season. At first, he was not that much interested in coming and playing because his new-born son was hospitalized. But just as his son Crew showed his resilience and got back to the family, it inspired Koepka to return with much power.

Last night, LIV Golf treated its stars to an incredible fireworks display amidst the depressing news of the OWGR verdict. The King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) sky was illuminated by the captivating show. Now that Koepka is there, putting in his sweat and soul to defend his title, wife Jena Sims also couldn’t help but cheer for her husband from time to time.

Sims couldn’t accompany Koepka on his voyage, and right now she is in Florida. But she keeps updating fans of the Koepka game on social media. She shared a story on Instagram about her husband’s successful second day of putting on just an hour ago. She wrote, ”Crew’s dad had a good day at work! Can’t wait to watch it later with him.”

When Koepka knows that there is someone who is there with him, he will perform better and better. However, Koepka has its own frustrating moments in pursuit of victory.

Koepka frustrated after the bunkered shot
Koepka secured a 4-under-66, his insane 62 in the opening round yesterday. In the final round, he came across a bunker packed with sand. His ball, however, wound up a few feet out of the hole due to a poor shot.
