SIMON Cowell swapped his grouchy persona to become family man.
The X-Factor boss was spotted laughing and eating ice cream on a daytrip with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, 40, and son Eric, four, in Malibu.
Doting dad Simon, 58, cuddled his boy as they enjoyed a family day in the bright sunshine.
The music mogul wore a white t-shirt and light blue jeans.
While his gorgeous better half, Lauren, sported a pink vest top and black leggings, a floppy straw hat and shades.
Cute lad Eric was spotted feeding his, normally grumpy, dad an icey as he played with a female friend.
And the family were in fits of giggles as Lauren shared something on her mobile phone.
They even met up with Simon’s ex Terri Seymour, 46, and her three-year-old daughter Coco.
Terri wore a floral printed dress as they strolled through the paradise getaway spot.
Simon looked very relaxed, a day after revealing how the X-Factor becomes so stressful it makes him ill.
The music mogul, 58, previously suffered from exhaustion as he tried to balance filming commitments in the US and UK.
Singer Sinitta, 54, says the X Factor judge is a big believer in the benefits of vitamin drips, telling the Star: “When The X Factor starts, Simon is going to be having an IV drip set up in his dressing room to help have vitamin B12 pumped into him.
