‘Good Luck Lefty’: Netizens Shower Charlie Woods’ Rival With Love Following His Latest Golf Venture
When parents are already a champion in their field, more often than not they want to see their children earning even more success in the same industry. And lucky in this matter are Charlie Woods and William McGee. Being the children of world-class golfers has ensured they get the best training from an early age.
And though the two boys share a friendly rivalry on the ground, they are also creating an impressive golf portfolio for themselves from a very early age. As William participates in his first JV match today, the fans are in full support of the boy and wish him to give his best on the green.
William McGee is known as a golf nut. The prodigy has inherited a passion for golf from a very young age just like his champion mother Annika Sorenstam — similar to Charlie who is learning from his father Tiger Woods. And under the supervision of a 10-time LPGA winner, young McGee has already started performing brilliantly.
Giving tough competition to Charlie Woods at the last few PNC Championships, William has even amazed Justin Thomas with his left-handed straight shots. He enjoys golf so much that William loves competing against his mother and already has an Ace to his name.
And adding more and more experiences to his portfolio, the 11-year-old is participating in this week’s Lake Highland School golf competition. The announcement was made by William’s father Mike McGee on Twitter who is just as supportive of his son’s thriving golf career.
