Michelle Wie West, LPGA’s golden girl, has had a thriving career in golf so far. She had five LPGA Tour wins and one major win in the year 2014. But owing to her injuries and the fact that she has a daughter now, the LPGA star announced her retirement from professional golf this year, which was indeed a life-altering decision. Wie West has arthritis in both her arms, and had to undergo surgery on her right hand after being diagnosed with a fracture and nerve entrapment.

So, Wie West concluded her golfing endeavors as a pro with the same major, which gave her the winner’s title in 2014 at Pinehurst, the U.S. Women’s Open. Thus, Pebble Beach was her last course as a professional golfer.
