Fowler is currently waving his flag at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. After the third round on Saturday, he is sitting on the top without a tie. But one Twitter user just couldn’t resist giving his unsolicited opinion of Fowler’s performance for the final round on Sunday.
A Twitter user who goes by the name of Unicorn wrote – “I’ve always liked Rickie Fowler but he chokes tomorrow guaranteed. Likely shoots over par. He’s playing some really good golf, but sadly a modern-day Phil Mickelson that just can’t close out a 54-hole lead anymore.” This tweet received more than 58,000 likes on Twitter. But this unprecedented attack on himself was not ignored by Phil Mickelson who took the matter in his own hand.
