‘Baby Poop’: Paige Spiranac Blasts Apologetic Zach Johnson, ‘Disgraceful’ F-Bomb Faces Fans’ Wrath
Yesterday it was Jon Rahm, but today it seems Zach Johnson has decided to take his place. Surprisingly, despite sub-par gameplay on Thursday, the LIV golfer had managed to turn the air blue, all thanks to him dropping an F-bomb on the greens. However, this time around, it was the 2023 Ryder Cup captain who came out cursing at Augusta on Friday and Paige Spiranac did not seem to like it one bit!
A video of the professional swearing was shared on her X handle (formerly Twitter) by the golfing beauty. Meanwhile, as she did so, Spiranac couldn’t help but point out how much of a “bad look” the American pro’s action has raked in, all the while taking a jab at the golfer!
Paige Spiranac is not a fan of Zach Johnson’s F-bomb
“The patrons at Augusta are unbelievably supportive and mild-mannered,” said the diva in her tweet before adding, “You can’t find a more pleasant environment to play golf in,” while alluding to the atmosphere at Augusta National. What’s more, Spiranac also mentioned how the golfer engaging in such an act was totally unwanted, as she took a dig at him: “The fact ZJ said this proves he’s softer than baby poop. Such a bad look.”
Naturally, the question arises: Why did he do so? Well, Zach Johnson came into the par-3 Golden Bell (No. 12) at an even par score. However, he hit the first shot into the bushes, leading to an unplayable shot since he couldn’t find the ball, following which his third shot failed to reach the green. Unfortunately, after it did reach, he could only tap in for a triple bogey at 3 above par, leading to the fans genuinely cheering for him. However, he seemed to be in no mood, shouting, “F**k Off” at them.
Meanwhile, Spiranac wasn’t the only person who took it out on the golfer for his actions. Interestingly, many took to comment under the tweet targeting the 2007 Masters champ and his turning the air blue. Some responded with jabs like “Dude’s just looking for someone to blame for his play other than himself,” while another mentioned how this is unacceptable at the prestigious event; “Disgraceful for any player at The Masters.”
Zach Johnson couldn’t seem to come out of the quagmire following the unfortunate shot, leading him to register a 75 (+3) on Friday, totaling a score of 7 over par for the two days. Consequently, he failed to make the cut since he was pushed out of the top 50, leading him to showcase his emotions on the greens. Surprisingly, he had much to say regarding the same, all the while being apologetic.
