We are honored to share the great work of our 2024 Jordan Spieth Family Foundation Grant Partners! We are thrilled to share their stories over the next year; each group focuses on impactful work within our four mission pillars that inspires us, and we are so grateful to be supporting each of their unique journeys.
We encourage you to get to know them more, and follow along on our Instagram @JordanSpiethFamFoundation as we spend the year leaning in to highlighting these community programs.
Individuals With Special Needs
Rays of Light Dallas
Rays of Light Dallas is dedicated to serving children with special needs and their families in the Dallas metropolitan area through support, relief, education, and love since 2009. Together with our volunteers, we strive to lend support and relief to these families through our respite care program called Night Lights. Funding from JSFF will cover the cost of nursery and security staffing at each site, as well as our annual Prom.
It is a privilege to be selected as a 2024/2025 JSFF Grant partner. This funding allows us to provide critical support services for our families, and to offer our teens an amazing prom experience each Spring. The funding is amazing, but the spirit of partnership is the icing on the cake!
FOSTER KIDS CHARITY
Foster Kids Charity strives to make sure that every child in the foster care system has their basic, personal needs met. This is accomplished by providing foster children in Texas with basic emergency items: food, clothes, hygienic products, school supplies and more. The JSFF funding will provide many foster families with items and resources needed to properly care for and provide for their special needs children.
Thanks to the generous support from the JSFF Grant, every resource becomes a lifeline for our special needs children in foster care. Your investment doesn’t just provide essentials; it shapes destinies. With these vital tools, we empower our children, making the difference between waiting and finding forever homes. Thank you!

To Be Like Me
The mission of To Be Like Me is to encourage empathy, kindness, and compassion through disability awareness programs led by people living with disabilities. To Be Like Me is a nonprofit in the City of Dallas dedicated to creating inclusive communities through personal interactions and connections with individuals with disabilities and to empowering individuals with disabilities through paid employment. To Be Like Me is a unique field trip destination for schools in North Texas providing disability awareness education to students, teachers, and community members. We provide paid employment for people with a disability to be our Leaders in Education and Advocacy for Disabilities (LEADers). We provide a two-hour interactive session covering at least ten areas of disability. Funding from the JSFF will assist in all of our programming that reaches 6,500 students, teachers, and community members in just this academic year.
On behalf of all of us at To Be Like Me, I want to sincerely thank the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation for selecting our organization to be a part of the 2024 JSFF Community Partner Group. These funds will help us employ and support our LEADers (Leaders in Education and Advocacy for Disabilities) who encourage empathy, kindness, and compassion in students, teachers, and community members through disability awareness programming. The ripple effect of kindness created by our unique, interactive programs help unite a global community through education and advocacy, where people with disabilities and differences are understood, accepted, and valued. Thank you for believing in us and helping us make a difference!
