Andy Murray’s kids ‘don’t want to talk to him’ as Brit details hilarious FaceTime calls

Andy Murray shed some light on his hilarious FaceTime calls with his children during the Miami Open. The world No. 62 has four kids with wife Kim and is trying to stay in contact with them while Stateside for the Masters 1000 tournament. But Murray admitted that his eldest children didn’t really want to talk to him while the younger ones only wanted to call for one reason.

Murray is enjoying his best run of the season in Miami, reaching the third round and recording back-to-back wins at a single tournament for the first time since August. While the three-time Major winner appears to be enjoying himself on the court again, he’s been having difficulty catching up with his family at home.

The 36-year-old has been attempting to video call his children but it hasn’t gone as planned, with most of them disinterested unless he’s using a fun filter. “It’s a bit different on FaceTime like my eldest kids don’t really want to talk to me on FaceTime which is tough,” Murray told Tennis Channel after his second-round win on Saturday.

While the two-time former Miami champion was able to speak to his youngest kids, he explained that it wasn’t much of an actual conversation. Murray continued: “And the youngest ones just want me to do like, you can do like animal faces and dinosaur faces and stuff.
