“Take Care of Your Lower Back”: Nelly Korda Leaves Fans Spellbound With Her ‘Vacation’ Workout

Work hard. ‘Slay’ harder. That seems to be the mantra Nelly Korda is following. The LPGA tour is on a break, but not Korda. The 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship winner recently broke her winless streak at the LPGA Drive-On Championship, holding off Lydia Ko in a thrilling playoff in her hometown. But the Bradenton resident is relentless, as a glimpse into her ‘break’ shows.

Korda was grinding hard at the gym, keeping herself pumped for February 22, when the LPGA Tour returns to action in Thailand. The 25-year-old’s strength training and core muscle exercises have also left the netizens awestruck, who couldn’t help but marvel at the dedication of the former World No. 1.

Korda has turned on the ‘beast mode’

The nine-time LPGA Tour winner started her workout with a few minutes (and miles) on the treadmill. Behind-the-neck press soon followed, throwing some hint behind her elegant and powerful swing. Korda crushes an average of 268.978 yards drive on the LPGA Tour, which ranks her 14th in the female circuit.

Next in line are Bulgarian split squats, core muscle workouts for abs, and dumbbell rows for a stronger lower back. Her lower back has troubled the 25-year-old for a long time. In 2020, the Florida native missed five weeks on the Tour for back pain. Last year as well, Nelly Korda had to take a few weeks off because of a niggling back injury.
