Amanda Holden’s daughter sparks confusion claiming Simon Cowell has SPLIT from girlfriend

AMANDA HOLDEN’S youngest daughter Hollie reportedly sparked confusion during a live Instagram video, claiming Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell and his girlfriend Lauren Silverman have split up.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, 49, was chatting about the moment she played her NHS charity single to Simon Cowell, 60, at his house, before mentioning Lauren Silverman, 42, who’d recently sent her pictures of the family cooking.

According to Mail Online, Amanda’s eight-year-old daughter Hollie interrupted and claimed she thought Simon and Lauren “broke up”.

However, the talent judge quickly shut down the suggestion telling Hollie to not be “so stupid”.

It comes as the ITV favourite has launched a music career.

In view of her 1.4million followers, Amanda said: “I did play the album to Simon because Simon was very kind and he invited me to come and sing on Britain’s Got Talent live shows, which I still will do whenever that is.

“But I thought I’ll take it round and have a cup of tea and see what he thinks, I don’t know why I did that – it was one of the most nerve-wracking things I have ever done in my whole life. It was like the opening night of a West End show.”

A spokesperson for Simon Cowell told Express.co.uk: “Simon and Lauren are very much still together and are in lockdown together in California.”

Simon has been isolating in the States along with long-term partner Lauren, their son Eric, six, and Adam, 14, who Lauren has from a previous relationship.

A source added: “This was just a case of a kid being a kid; getting muddled up and getting things completely wrong.’’
