His old relationship with his father would cause his eldest daughter to reflect on her own.

And, they’re more similar than she would like to admit. The Los Angeles Lakers legend has spoken at length about his father and the impact he had on him as a human. Whether it was the discipline or bouts with reality, the elder O’Neal was essential in shaping Shaq into who he is today.

One such incident would involve Christmas and the typical Santa celebration. The 7-footer would make a revelation on The Big Podcast. “F**k that, there ain’t no Santa. I’m Santa. We don’t got no chimney, we in the projects.”
