Watch: Man City star Jack Grealish leaves local school kids stunned with Christmas present prank

Local school kids were given an extra special tour of the Etihad Stadium as Jack Grealish popped up as a surprise to spend time with them.

The lucky children, all from four schools supported by Manchester City’s charity City in the Community (CITC) ranging from Years 5-8 across primary and secondary, unwrapped a large box blocking their route on the stadium tour to find the £100m winger in a lifesize version of his ‘Funk-Pop’ toy. After managing to get out of the packaging, Grealish took his time to chat to all of the kids before leaving them with a signed version of his new toy.

“I really like the design of the new toy – I think it looks like me with the beard and headband,” said Grealish. “Obviously it’s also cool that if you buy one of these, you’re also supporting City in the Community which is a really good thing.

“I really enjoyed meeting the young people today. I’ve visited the charity’s sessions a few times before, so know first-hand the difference they make to people in Manchester. It makes me really proud to know that the club is supporting this important work through its Christmas campaign.”
