David Beckham speaks out on wife Victoria’s emotional day ‘There’ll only ever be one Posh’
DAVID BECKHAM took to Instagram this morning to say his wife Victoria Beckham was feeling “emotional”, as the other Spice Girls prepare to launch their tour in Dublin tonight.
David Beckham spoke out in view of his 55.6 million Instagram followers, saying there will “only ever be one Posh Spice”, the nickname for his wife Victoria Beckham. The former footballer, 44, shared a sweet and gushing post about his spouse, who is not taking part in the Spice Girls reunion tour. The now four-piece – Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton – will take to the stage at Croke Park in Dublin this evening. Despite opting out, he said his 45-year-old partner was going to still be “emotional” ahead of their big moment.
Sharing an image of Victoria in the Spice Girls’ hey day, she was seen clad in black PVC as they shot their Say You’ll Be There music video.
David captioned it: “As someone that has lived with POSH SPICE for the last 23 years, I know how emotional today is going to be.
“But I just want to wish all the girls good luck with their amazing tour.”
The father-of-four then quipped: “There will only ever be one POSH SPICE @victoriabeckham @spicegirls.”
he star then went on to add: “Good luck to the girls today as the tour begins @spicegirls,” in a separate post.
Victoria also echoed his thoughts on her own Instagram page, writing: “Good luck to the girls today as they start their tour! x VB #SpiceGirls #FriendshipNeverEnds @EmmaLeeBunton @TheRealGeriHalliwell @OfficialMelB @MelanieCMusic.”
