This week, he is playing in the Shanghai Masters against Ben Shelton. The two players who never faced off against each other went head to head the first time at the quarterfinal.

Korda made 17 aces with his lefty serve. Though he let slip five match points from 6/1, it was in the deciding-set tie-break. On Thursday, he scored of prevailed 6-7(10), 6-2, and 7-6(6).
