Camila Giorgi’s boyfriend is Santiago Rodriguez Taverna. Giorgi was born on December 30, 1991, in Macerata, Italy to parents Claudia Gabriella Fullone and Sergio Giorgi. Her father emigrated from Argentina to Italy in 1982 where he also fought in the war against the British while her mother was a fashion designer. Camila Giorgi’s father, Sergio Giorgi used to coach her daughter full-time for tennis and her mother used to make dresses for her.
Camila Giorgi turned professional in 2006 after her heroics on the Nike Junior Tour. She played her first Grand Slam match in 2011 but she lost against eventual quarter-finalist Tsvetana Pironkova. Next year, she managed to reach the fourth round of Wimbledon. In 2015, she won her first WTA title at the Topshelf Open in Rosmalen and she also got ranked in the top 30. Afterward, she started struggling with her form and she was finally able to make a comeback in 2021. Earlier this year, she again returned to the top 30.
