‘Not Always Fun’– After a Thrilling US Open Win, Andy Murray Dishes Out Hilarious Fatherhood Take to Tickle the Crowd’s Funny Bone
Fulfilling your fatherhood duties and standing up for your passion at the same time is something that is often seen on the tennis court. There are a lot of tennis players, including Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray, who are trying to juggle fatherhood and their love for tennis. But recently, the father of four, Murray, shared his hilarious take as a parent while playing the US Open with his whole family by his side.
The British tennis player is currently in New York, displaying his amazing skills at the US Open. But after advancing to the tournament’s second round, the 36-year-old made a startling admission that will be applauded by all tennis fathers out there.
After achieving a straight-sets victory against Corentin Moutet in the first round at Flushing Meadows, Murray made a huge revelation as a father, in an on-court interview. While his wife was present in the stands to support him, the interviewer asked him how he was feeling to have his family by his side during the US Open.
He said, “My wife’s over there. The kids are back at the hotel. It’s not always fun with them. Having four little ones under 7 is difficult at times.”
Nevertheless, while making this comment, the three-time Grand Slam champion joked about how it’s not easy to handle four kids. The British tennis player and his wife, Kim Sears, are proud parents of Sophia, Edie, Teddie, and Lola. While it might be fun to have his children around, at the same time, it also comes with a lot of tough moments as parents.
