Nuria Iturrioz’s Caddie Stylishly Gives Unique Competition to 18-Year-Old Tiger Woods at Hero Women’s Indian Open

The golf world has seen many bizarre things on the course. From weird outfits by golfers including the legend Tiger Woods to the tacky attire donned by Ian Poulter, the sport has witnessed its fair share of peculiar things. And now, a similar scene unfolded at the Hero Women’s Indian Open that is currently underway in Gurugram.

Caddies are supposed to be a source of support for the golfers on the course. But this time around, the looper of a LET pro Nuria Iturrioz, took it a step further as she was spotted donning a unique style, competing with none other than an 18-year-old Woods!

The Hero Women’s Indian Open is currently underway at the DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram. And, among the players duking it out on the field for the prize money of $400,000 is none other than Iturrioz who is accompanied by her caddie Piti Martinez Bernal.

Along with carrying the bags for the Spanish golfer, Bernal was spotted wearing a distinct style of headwear. Well, curious? The looper was dressed in colorful attire with a sombrero on her head, something that set her apart from the rest of the people present much like Woods during his first US Amateur win at TPC Sawgrass in 1994.

However, this wasn’t the first time the Spaniard was spotted wearing the eye-catching headgear. The caddie also wore the same while carrying the bags for Iturrioz during the Aramco Team Series Hong Kong where she finished T4. One thing is for sure, the Spanish duo did manage to turn a lot of heads toward themselves, one owing to her skills and the other due to her quirky style.
