After hearing the shocking news from Madrid, the former world number one took to his Twitter account to pay his condolences to the popular and well-known 80-year-old Spanish television producer. While Castaño was known for his amazing voice on the radio, he was also well-known for the sports knowledge that he carried as a Spanish personality.

The veteran presenter was not only one of the recognised voices on Spanish radio, but during the last few decades, he has also worked as the main protagonist of the Cadena SER sports carousel, a popular sporting channel.
