‘He’s Slept on These Leads Way More’: Jordan Spieth Taunts Brooks Koepka After LIV Golfer’s Utter Dominance at the Masters
This is the first time LIV Golf League players have got an opportunity to play at the Masters. And they are doing a great job. However, people believe that they cannot win the green jacket. The PGA Tour pro, Jordan Spieth, has something to say about the matter. He attended a quick interview and revealed his upcoming strategy, along with commenting on Brooks Koepka. Was it a taunt on the LIV defector?
Jordan Spieth states the facts
The reporter asked if there was any difference between chasing somebody who’s won a major championship and chasing someone who has not won one. Spieth said there is no difference as much as one could think. He talked about control and commented on Koepka, “He’s slept on these leads way more often than I had at the time,”
Spieth further added “You can control what you can control. Ideally, it would be somebody who would care more and potentially be feeling different than maybe Brooks will be.”
Although Koepka has never experienced the thrill of winning on a Saudi-backed circuit, Spieth still commended Koepka for his recent triumph in the LIV Golf League. Koepka’s impressive performance against a highly skilled field left a lasting impression on him. Spieth also admired Koepka’s skill and composure on the greens.
Returning to the central question of chasing, the professional golfer on the PGA Tour shared his thoughts, saying, “Yeah, ideally it would be if you were chasing, you don’t want to be chasing Tiger Woods, you want to be chasing somebody who’s never been there.” Despite this, it doesn’t really matter to him who he’s chasing.
