Emma Raducanu has revealed that she went fully disguised while using public transport on her way to rehab and gym workouts. Raducanu, 20, recently returned to the gym after undergoing multiple surgeries. In the latest photo dump posted on her Instagram, Raducanu revealed how life has been going lately.
On public transport, Raducanu disguised herself with sunglasses and a hoodie.“A week of what the t-shirt says. Daily workouts with rush hr commutes meant I cheated on colin,” Raducanu captioned her Instagram post.
Raducanu receives support from her agent
Just several days ago, agent Max Eisenbud voiced support for Raducanu. During an appearance on The Tennis Podcast, Eisenbud highlighted to Raducanu’s critics that winning the US Open doesn’t happen by accident.
“You don’t just accidentally win the US Open as she did. You have to be great to do what she did. I think that she will settle and things will get more calm for her and I think she will make more deep runs. I think she will win more Grand Slams, when it’s all said and done,” Eisenbud said on The Tennis Podcast.Also, Eisenbud suggested that instead of criticizing and scrutinizing Raducanu, the British media should be giving the Briton more credit.
“After she won (US Open), I don’t think her family got enough credit for how they handled her lead up to Wimbledon and the US Open win. There’s a girl who never went to a tennis academy who stayed in school. I can’t remember a Grand Slam champion who didn’t leave school before the age of 14 and who was wiling to sacrifice her tennis development.
I think we all know the story, she barely played leading up to Wimbledon, she was studying. These are amazing things that I don’t think much of the British media talk about, I think that’s a shame because I think that was very brave of her parents and her to sacrifice her tennis development.
I don’t think there will be ever a Grand Slam champion who goes to regular school, so I think that story was a miss,” Eisenbud said.
